Where the Angel Room began....

The Angel Room began with a vision in the Fall of 2007 when three angels appeared to Nicki Garner showing her a series of paintings that would touch, move and inspire others. In April of 2008 she opened a small shop to create the Angelic Light Project, a series of twelve, eight foot by four foot, paintings of life sized and photo realistic angels who appear to be walking off the canvases into the viewing space. The six male and six female angels will each carry a gift for humanity.

Nicki created a space where people could come and just be. To take a break on the comfy couches from the hustle bustle of life in a safe (non-judgmental) environment. The Angel Room offers a wide variety of books on peace and spiritual awareness, a healing bowl where people may place the names of loved ones in need of prayers and healing thoughts and energy. There are always a few decks of Angel Cards to play with and always an opportunity for meaningful conversation or peace and quiet.

After opening, beautiful people came to visit the Angel Room. A weekly healing circle began in October on Tuesday evenings and presenters came and held wonderful healing workshops. Dawn Gaynor walked in, fell in love with the space, closed her yoga studio in Sandwich and began teaching Svaroopa Style yoga there. The classes soon outgrew the Angel Room in March so we needed a larger space thus the co-op idea formed to support just that.

The perfect team of practitioners formed effortlessly in the Spring....all being heart centered and in the flow....all true to the "work" of bettering the lives of others, creating greater awareness within themselves and deepening their own ability to love unconditionally.
